Ambulance Services

The A&E Services @ PHKL provides 24-hour private ambulance services and medical transportation/evacuation for any types of medical emergencies. This includes international patients transfer from any part of the world.

Our hospital is equipped with 2 ambulances that are on standby all day, every day.

PHKL assures a timely patient transfer to the A&E Department supported by the proper documentation when required for example in the case of an international patient transfer.

Triage & Waiting Time

The triage system is used to sort patients into categories so those with urgent medical needs get help first. The assessment is based on how sick a patient is upon arrival at the emergency.

Red Zone: Emergency

Cardiopulmonary arrest, severe respiratory distress, major burns, tier 1 trauma, massive uncontrolled bleeding, coma, etc.

Yellow Zone: Urgent

Under 30 minutes

For example, open fractures, diarrhoea, vomiting with dehydration, active chest pains, acute major bleeding, acute abdominal pains, etc.

Green Zone: Non Urgent

Class 3 (1) Non-critical but needing multiple resources

Under 60 minutes

For example, any emergency in need of multiple facilities such as blood tests and imaging at the same time.

Class 3 (2) Non-critical but needing one resource

Under 90 minutes

For example, in need for blood test only or imaging only

Class 3 (3) Non-critical without needing any resource

Under 90 minutes

Admission

Time is of the essence. The A&E Services @ PHKL has a team of medical specialists who are on-call 24-hour, 7-day a week to cater to your emergency needs. Should you have a preferred specialist who has attended to you at PHKL, please inform our Admission personnel accordingly.

Bill Settlement

PHKL accepts various payment modes including cash, major credit/debit cards, bank transfers and many more for your convenience.

If you are paying via insurance, whether it is a personal accident plan, comprehensive hospitalisation or travel insurance, please provide the following documents to ensure a quick, fuss-free admission experience.
