Staff Nurse (Urgent) – OT / A&E / ICU / Dialysis

Job Description

  • To be responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, efficient nursing care and therapeutic treatment as instructed and guided by senior personnel with continuous supervision.
  • To assist and deliver patient care with clinical judgment and knowledge and to ensure accurate recording and reporting of any significant changes in patients to senior personnel within the unit/nursing team.
  • To ensure and have a good working knowledge of all statutory requirements of the Nursing Board of Malaysia and any other legislation related to her/his work.
  • To ensure compliance with established departmental/unit policies and procedures, continuous quality improvement objectives, environmental safety and infection control standards in line the Organisation’s Vision, Mission and Core Values.
  • To ensure the provision and maintenance of a hazard-free working environment in terms of infections and accidents for both patients and others.
  • Enquire and identify patient’s medication history, document & collect any patient’s own medication (POM), show to primary doctor and have the POM medication verified by pharmacist before continuing or not to continue POM as per hospital protocol.
  • Assess / Identify patient at risk of fall and implement fall prevention care.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma of Nursing with valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • At least 2-5 Years and above of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Possess have the Post Basic Certificate in OT, ICU, A & E is an advantage.
Staff Nurse - Multidiscipline

Job Description

The Staff Nurse is a member of the unit/nursing team who is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care in cooperation with other members of health care providers to ensure high nursing standards of clinical knowledge and practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective, efficient and quality nursing care to patient
  • To provide general nursing duties
  • Attend patients’ enquiries
  • To maintain and update patients’ records
  • Ensure the nursing procedure is carry out according to protocol and guidelines
  • Administration duties as advice by Superior

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Nursing with valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
  • Minimum 1 years of working experience and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Candidate with Post Basic is an advantage
  • Training will be provided
