Treatments For Urology Conditions

1. Ureteroscopy/ Ureteroscopic Removal of Stone (URS) - An endoscopic procedure to remove stones in the ureter.
2. Retrograde Intra Renal Surgery (RIRS) - An endoscopic procedure to remove stones in the kidneys.
3. Percutanous Nephrolithotripsy (PCNL) - A minimal invasive operative procedure to remove lage stones in the kidney.
4. Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) - Fragmentation of moderate size stones in the kidney to enable the stone to pass out easier.
5. Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) - An endoscopic procedure to core out the prostate so that acute or chronic urinary obstruction due an enlarged prostate can be solved and treated.
6. Water Vapour Therapy (Rezūm) - Newly introduced in Malaysia (available worldwide since 2015, FDA approved). It is a quick, safe and minimally invasive endoscopic procedure to enlarge the prostatic opening by injecting water vapour into the prostate, causing it to shrink and enlarge the opening.
